my niece’s sweet little sophia was hanging an ornament on the little tree that was planted in memory of my dad.
he passed away a few years ago, and we planted this tree that was given to our family.
it is kind of spindly and looks more like a charlie brown tree, but we love that little tree, and my mom can see it everyday through her kitchen window.
when i look at that tree it always reminds me of him and at this time of the year, i think of the beautiful “i’ll be home for christmas”
